2006 Holiday Edition
Like my buddy Shayne, I'm also going to post this on my blog. Not that anyone really sees it!
Welcome to the 2006 Holiday Edition of Getting to Know Your Friends! Youknow the drill. Highlight, copy, and paste (not forward) and change myanswers to your answers. Be sure to send back to me. Enjoy!! Everyonehas time for a few moments of fun! Don't be a scrooge!!!
1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Hot chocolate, with marshmallows, egg nog is just plain wrong I tells ya!
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? Santa wraps, or should I say, stores, and malls wrap presents.
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? Colored of course! Never multicolored though, looks too tacky with multicolored, and never, ever white, christmas is after labor day.
4. Do you hang mistletoe? Sort of waste of time I think, I don't need to stand under a plant to kiss someone, I can kiss anywhere, anytime.
5. When do you put your decorations up? December 1, this year will be an exception, because I've sold my house, and I no place to move yet, they'll have to wait until after I move.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? Candy canes! They are NOT a dessert, although I've been known to consume an entire box, and call it a meal. LOL!
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child(adult): As a child, don't have that many, because we always went away for Christmas. As an adult, the year I got blown out of the water by a handmade gift, by someone. That person knows who they are, and what the gift was. BTW, I still have it, and wear it.
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? I was about 10, and my younger brother Matt told me there was no such thing as Santa. I cried for days. Why was I spending so much time being good, if there was no such thing? This could have been a clue of things to come! LOL
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? See #7-Since we usually went away for Christmas, we had to open gifts on Christmas eve, because they were usually plane tickets.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? Modest, since my evil soon to be ex-wife hated Christmas. This year, depending on where I am, I hope to make it look like Bloomingdales threw up in my living room.
Again, I'm going to copy Shayne, and so many others, and put 100 things about me on here later tonight maybe.
Peace!
~M
